THE OCCULT DIGEST is a virtual zine dedicated to the numinous, the uncanny, the eldritch, and the inexplicable. Edited by Cleo Varra (IG: @cleovarra).
We believe that:
- The "spookification" of the "occult" in the West is part of a culture war that's been running since at least the 16th century and should be examined critically!
- Uncertainty and ambiguity are our friends!
- Erasure of tradition is scarier than any ghost!
- And incidentally, those ghosthunter shows are SO rude to the ghosts, right?
